Today, we’re finishing up our sweet sew-along quilts! This is the Orange Pekoe Sew Along Borders and Assembly week and I am so happy with how my new version of the quilt turned out!
This sew along has been so much fun!! We’ve gone through each step of making up my Orange Pekoe quilt pattern – everything from the cutting to applique to piecing! And if you’re just finding this sew along, it’s not to late to find all the info – the videos are all on my YouTube channel.
My original version is made up in my Afternoon Tea fabrics and for this sew along, I wanted to change things up a bit! This time I used the gorgeous Feed My Soul collection from Sandy Gervais as the prints in the quilt and to really let those prints pop, I used my Navy Dainty Daisy fabric as the background. I love how the quilt almost looks like stained glass.
In this week’s video, I’ll be sharing tips on assembling the quilt and adding the borders. You can join me live at 2 pm CT on YouTube, or you can check out the video any time later.
You can find the pattern in my shop, and there is still plenty of time to join the sew-along. You can share your progress or quilt in my Facebook Group – we’d love to see what you are making!
