With summer finally here, that means that it’s time to head to the beach! (At least, that’s what I wish it would mean). While we might not make it to the beach this year, I’m still dreaming of a trip!
I’ve gathered up some of my favorite projects to make for the beach – but a lot of these would be great for trips to the lake or pool too! Here are some fun projects to make up to get you all set for relaxing by the water!

Love the umbrella and the shade house!
The shade house would be great. We live 7 1/2 miles from a state park lake, but the wind is so strong and constant trying to put a shade up is hopeless, let alone expect it to stay where we put it. This shade might be sturdier, able to anchor it somehow. An easy up just blows away, an umbrella, forget it. We have a shade house but wind blows it so badly while trying to put it up we end up putting it back in car. Would love to make one of these. Will look into this, thanks for sharing. Yeahoo.
