Today I am going to share five tips on adding dimension to walls in your home. Adding dimension to your walls gives you a focal point or accent that really makes a room POP! Giving a room a little something extra on the walls could really make all the difference in home decorating.
- Add vinyl to a wall.
Adding vinyl to a wall is a great option, especially if you are in a rental home or if you like to change your mind a lot with decorating (me! me!). It’s an simple way to add dimension to walls in any room of your home. The patterns can be as minimal or as intricate as you want. My favorite place to get vinyl for home decor is Walls Need Love. 2. Add paint to a wall.
Painting a wall an accent color or a bold pattern, like stripes, is sure to add dimension to your walls and your room. You can paint the entire room, one wall, a nook, or even closet doors!
3. Wallpaper a wall… or all!
Wallpaper is making a comeback! That’s right, you read that correctly. All good things come back around eventually, and wallpaper is one of them. It’s another great option to adding dimension to a room. I am in love with this floral wallpaper nursery.
4. Stencil a wall.
You can purchase already made stencils or you can make them yourself! There are a ton of options for patterns; you just have to figure out which one you want to use in which room!
5. Add wood slats to a wall.
This is probably my favorite of all because I just LOVE the way it looks. You can add wood slats to a large wall or a small wall, but either way you will not be disappointed. It’s a beautiful way to add a POP to any room. We added wood slats to a small wall in our master bathroom and it’s still one of my favorite home decor projects to date.
