So somehow Memorial Day snuck up on me.
Seriously – how on earth did we get to the end of May so quickly??
I was thinking about our plans for the weekend – and of course my thoughts turned to food.

Living so near to several Military bases, the Military and their families are something we talk about often here, and how thankful we are for them.
This weekend is a time for us to remember those who have given their lives for our country.
I love this quote – it’s a great reminder of the courage they showed to protect our freedoms.
