Holly Blocks – All the Trimmings Quilt Along

I’m so excited to be joining in with Fat Quarters Shop’s new Mystery Quilt Along over the next few weeks! This is week One and we are making up Holly Blocks in the All the Trimmings Quilt Along!

I had a blast sewing along with last year’s mini quilt, the Jelly Snowflake Mystery Quilt. This year is going to be such a fun sew along as well! Every week Fat Quarter Shop will release the pattern for a different section of the quilt. Each section is a mystery and at the end, they will show how to put it all together!

I am sewing with my Christmas Adventure fabric and Blossom tone on tone in white for the background. You can find both at Fat Quarter Shop! It’s going to be fun picking fabrics for each week for the blocks.

For these blocks, I made two with Holly blocks with red berries and two with pink berries. I kept all my leaves the same – a blend of the green Christmas Lights and green Quilty Snowflake prints. It’s hard to tell in the photos but in person, the Blossom tone on tone looks a little like snowflakes on the background.
