One of my favorite things is getting to cheer my friends on when they have an exciting event going on – and that is definitely the case with today’s post!
Two years ago at the Snap! Conference I was able to meet Vanessa from See Vanessa Craft and we were able to chat for a bit about her book coming out. (I wish we’d had more time!) So I was super thrilled to join in the fun in her book tour for Party In A Jar!
This book is so fun! Vanessa has put together 16 adorable projects that are perfect for kids! They are so fun – they are adorable kids-friendly crafts (perfect for parties) and they double as party favors – which is a total win-win in my book. I’m all for cutting down the work on party prep.
Now my kids are a little older, so we didn’t do any of the crafts, but the first thing I thought of when I was looking through the book was how perfect it was for summer coming up! I think these sweet little projects would be so fun to make up during summer play dates, to have on hand as snacks and an easy way to send treats home. These little Applesauce Beach Jars would be perfect for that – I know my kids would have loved them!

I think serving up desserts in jars at get-together’s makes things so fun – no matter what age your guests are. This Popcorn Jar would be great for a Memorial Day barbeque or a 4th of July party.
I highly recommend the book, and not just because I adore Vanessa and think she is super creative! It is full of bright and colorful photos and all the projects have really clear instructions. Your kids will love it and I think you’ll find some projects that you could use as springboards for any party!
You can follow along with all of Vanessa’s projects on her blog, See Vanessa Craft and you can pick up the book on Amazon! If you’d like a signed copy of the back, Vanessa is doing signed (super cute mason jar) bookplates to stick inside the books by request. To request a bookplate, email [email protected] with the subject line BOOKPLATE and include info on proof of purchase. A signed book would be a great gift idea!
I hope you check out the book – you’ll love it!
