It’s time for a new Riley Blake Designs Mystery Quilt! We are kicking off this amazing quilt with the Daisy Chain Block in the 2022 RBD Block Challenge!
Riley Blake is kicking off a new Mystery Quilt Sew Along that will go on over the next few months! It is a free sew along with 16 blocks designed by the Riley Blake Designers. We will be releasing a block every week on Tuesdays (except for the last Tuesday of the Month) and the sew along will run through May 17th. All the block patterns are free and there will be video tutorials too!
Riley Blake is using a really pretty palette of solids for their blocks and there will be lots of designers sewing along with different fabrics. I’m going to be making up my blocks with Enchanted Meadow – my fabric collection releasing this month! I’m going to be using a Riley Blake solid for my background – it’s a pale aqua called Bleached Denim. I’m excited to see how the blocks look with this pretty light blue background!
Daisy Chain Block -2022 RBD Block Challenge
This week’s block is designed by the amazing Lori Holt and it is called the Daisy Chain Block. It looks complicated but it goes together really well and it’s so fun to choose fabrics for it!

Hi Beverly, do you have the fabric requirements using your Enchanted Meadow fabrics? I don’t know how to convert the solids (blue color way and red color way), to your fabrics. I’d like to make my quilt using your fabric solids and patterns in the same combinations you use. Can you let me know how much yardage I need of each fabric you use/I’ll need? Also, where will I be able to order Enchanted Meadow?

I don’t have fabric requirements using Enchanted Meadow – they don’t give us the blocks too far ahead of time. But I think a fat quarter bundle should work well! I’ll do my best to keep the blocks to work with a bundle as well as I make my versions. :)
Enchanted Meadow is shipping just a bit late – it looks like it will arrive in early February.

Hi jeanie, I stumbled across this RB quilt challenge but dispite several attempts i can’t get the list of full fabric requirements to download. I’ve used your link and I have gone to the RB site with the same problem. I cant start until I know how much fabric I’m going to need. Feeling frustrated.
