This year I would really like to get my Christmas wrapping done a little early – so that I am not waiting until the last minute and wrapping up my gifts and throwing them under the tree on Christmas Eve. (Not that I’ve ever done that. Ahem.)
My hope is that if I start earlier, I’ll have time to get a little more creative and wrap up everything in cute and creative ways. I am in desperate need of ideas for how to do that though, so I tried out the new Bing Smart Search.
Bing Smart Search is the new super fast way to search on Windows 8.1, you don’t even have to open a browser. You just type in your search on your tablet or pc, and start swiping to check out your results. I love visual searches so I clicked on Images so I could see lots of ideas at once.
The nice thing about this search is that you can just keep scrolling and it will load more and more images. It is so fast.
After browsing a bit I decided to filter my results to gift wrapping ideas with pom poms. Because I am apparently addicted to all things pom pommy right now. ( I can’t wait to show you my mantel!)
Ok now we’re talking. I am going to be making pom poms from now until Christmas with all these cute ideas!
I decided to start with something simple and I found the perfect project over at Two Shades of Pink. She created pom poms and added them to lollipop sticks but I wanted a little more color so I added mine to a cute paper straw!
I taped it to my package with this Merry Christmas washi tape – I love how simple but super cute it is! Like something out of Dr. Seuss.
I can’t wait to start using some of the other ideas I found as well. I think a group of pom poms all tied up with baker’s twine is next! Now I just need to start wrapping presents – so I can get to the fun decorating part!
