A brand-new mystery quilt along is starting today, and I’m already completely smitten with the first block! Boo to You is a free four-week quilt along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop, with a new section of the quilt revealed each week.
We’re kicking things off with the Boo to You Banner Block, and honestly, I’m a bit obsessed. The pieced letters, pointed banner shapes, and bold black accents make this block so much fun—and it’s only the beginning!
I’m also especially excited about the fabrics I’m using for this quilt. I’m sewing along with Cozy Autumn, my fall collection that is in stores now. It isn’t technically a Halloween collection, but paired with Dainty Daisy Licorice, it has just the right mix of warm autumn color and slightly spooky contrast. I love how fabulous these prints are looking together!
For the light sections of the quilt, including the letters in this block, I’m using the Natural Vines Linen print from Cozy Autumn. It adds such a soft, pretty look while still standing out beautifully against the oranges and black.
