I am excited to be making a new fall quilt with a fun, free sew along with Fat Quarter Shop!

Fat Quarter Shop is starting a new fall sew along today, and I couldn’t resist sewing along. This is a mystery quilt along, and each week for the next few weeks, they will be releasing the patterns for the quilt. Yay! This is week one and we are making up the sweetest little wonky stars. I love that their points are different sizes – it adds such a fun look to them.

I’m sewing along with the collection, “The Awe of Autumn,” by Sandy Gervais. It’s a gorgeous Fall collection with florals, pumpkins, plaids, and of course, pretty Fall leaves. I love the addition of the teal in the fabrics; I couldn’t resist choosing those colors to make my little stars.
For the background of the quilt, I’m using my Dainty Daisy basic in the Honey on Cloud colorway. It’s a great little low-volume print with subtle golden flowers that look great with the yellows in the collection.

Fat Quarter Shop is also offering a matching cross stitch along as well – so you can stitch and sew your way into Fall with these sweet designs. You can find the patterns at the link below, along with some fun accessories to complement your projects.

Come back next week to see my versions of the Week 2 blocks! This will be perfect timing – when we’re finished with this cute quilt, we’ll be able to hang it right up with our Fall decorations. Yay!

Your Autumn Nights links don’t work at all from the blog and the email directs you to a Christmas themed sew a long.

Hello,
I am unable to access the Autumn Nights pattern.
It continually closes and says the link is inactive.
Can you possibly repost?
I am interested and was just looking at the same fabric earlier!
Thanks
