So how are you doing on your gift making?? We are only a few weeks away!
Is anyone besides me being a giant gift-making slacker? Apparently I thrive on last minute pressure. Yay me.
If you still need some inspiration – we had some great accessory gift tutorials! You can check out the scarf, necklace, and watch here if you missed any of them!
I have a couple more for you this week – including this super cute Anthro Beatrix Necklace Knockoff:
(This also works great as a “I am keeping this myself to wear so I look cute while I’m buying you a Starbucks Gift Card” necklace.)
Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything.
And here is the Anthro original!
Fun right? This one is quick and easy too!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 – 26″ piece of chain
1 – 24″ piece of chain
pearls – enough to make a 24″ length strand
beads – enough to make a 25″ length strand
crochet trim or lace – 25″
2 small ribbon clamps
5 rhinestone beads
10 jump rings
4 crimp beads
cording string
1 lobster clasp
flat nosed pliers
Add 2 large jump rings to the 26″ length of chain. This will be the first strand of the necklace.
Using the flat nosed pliers, add a ribbon clamp to each end of the length of crocheted trim. These are easy, just pinch the clamp closed so it fits tightly to the trim.
Add a medium-sized jump ring to each small loop on the ribbon clamp. Add these rings to the larger jump rings that you added to the ends of the 26″ chain earlier.
Add the rhinestone beads to jump rings, then add these to the 25″ length of chain. Don’t space them on evenly – just scatter them on wherever you want.
(I liked the way these looked a little better than sewing rhinestones to the crochet trim like the Anthro version – plus I couldn’t find sew-on rhinestones. ;)
Add this chain to the jump rings holding your other strands.
Cut a length of cording string 28″ long. Add a crimp bead to the cording string and loop the string through a jump ring, then pass the end of the cording back through the crimp bead.
Clamp the bead flat. This will create a little loop around the jump ring.
Add 24″ of beads to the cording. Finish the other end with another jump ring and crimp bead.
Create another strand with your pearls and add it to the same jump rings as the beads.
Add these strands to the larger jump rings with your other necklace strands.
Add another jump ring to one side and a lobster clasp to the other.
And that finishes off your necklace!!
Isn’t the combination of chains, lace and beads pretty?
Some more shots for you . . . cause I’m an over-picture taker. :)
I hope you like it!!

What do you use to wrap around your rhinestones so you can connect them to a jumpring? Did you find some rhinestones that come like that or did you have to make them?
Jody Todd says
I like yours better. Very nice… oh, I find the sew on rhinestones. On Ebay..in fact, it was hard to. Find regular closed ones. Again, very pretty necklace, thanxs for sharing it.
