Time for Installment Number 2 of “Things I made for Christmas”!!
I’m so glad you all like the Oopsies. I’ll see if I can get a photo of the girls in their outfits to show you soon.
For my Grandma, I decided to make up a Rebecca Bag. I found some great Amy Butler fabric in shades of blue and gray that I just fell in love with.
I love her home-decor fabric for these bags – it’s the perfect weight to hold up and give structure to the bag.
The contrast fabric on the ruffle was a zigzag – the same fabric as the contrast pieces on the corners, but you can’t tell. I think that was still ok though.
I have some fabric left. I’m hoping to get some Finished Rebecca bags in the Etsy shop soon – in addition to the patterns! :)
I also made up some jewelry this year –
This is made from a fun, funky antique gold chain and a leaf accent, with green beads and pearls.
There were matching earrings too that I don’t have a picture of. Oops.
I made lots of rings . . .
They were great as stocking stuffers and little things to finish off gifts.
I also made this fun bead and fabric necklace and earring set.
The necklace had pearls and black beads, and little circles of gray knit fabric. I love how ruffly it looks.
And earrings to match – which I DO have a picture of. ;)
What do you think? Would you like a tutorial on that last set? Or is it pretty easy to figure out?
I’m also thinking of putting some in my shop.
Coming up later in the week: a super-cute Chandelier pillow and LOTS of headbands . . .
I’m still working on the Blog Makeover. It’s coming along. Soon. ;) . . .
and the Crush of the Week will be back – but with a twist! Woohoo!
So very cute!!! Those rings are fabulous!!!
oh Bev! You are so amazing! I CAN’T WAIT to see the chandelier pillow!!! Always inspiring-Happy New Year!

Amy
