I am so excited to have one of my blog goals for the year accomplished already!
As the blog has grown over the last year or so, I have realized that I need to put together a Media Kit.
If you’re not familiar with a Media Kit, it’s basically a PDF “About Me” page, with information about the blogger and the blog, stats, any press or other putblications pricing for promotional posts/etc, etc; all in a handy dandy format that is eye catching. This PDF can be printed or emailed to give to companies that you are interested in partnering with. It’s a great way to present a professional proposal about your blog.
And for one reason or another, I kept putting it off.
But my good friend Andrea from The Train to Crazy and Go To Patterns stepped in and saved the day. She just started up a Media Kit and Graphic Design company called Go To Design!
Andrea designed my new Media Kit and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
Isn’t it so cute? I love how it’s so “me”. Andrea used all my graphics and images and really tailored it to my style and look.
She also had great input on what statistics and info to include. Figuring out what to include in the kit was one of the reasons I kept putting it off.
Andrea give me ideas for things to put in the kit and all I had to do was put them in an email and she organized everything into this great format.
You can check out her Media Kit page for info on the different levels of design she offers – there is something to fit any budget.
I also really appreciate the three awesome gals who offered testimonials for the kit – Leslie, Sarah and Tanya! I was so touched by the sweet things they included in their testimonials.
If you’re needing other graphic design work for your blog – like buttons, banners or custom graphics – Andrea’s your girl for that too. She can do Etsy shop graphics, special buttons or banners for a series you’re doing – whatever you need.
I’m excited to have such a professional looking kit to send to companies and PR reps – something that has all the info they would need, but also fits so well with my style!
If you are looking at working more with brands doing promotion, being a brand ambassador, or other partnerships – I highly recommend getting in touch with Andrea about a Media Kit or any other graphic design services you need!
This looks great! I pinned it for future reference! Thanks for sharing!
