It’s that time of year! The time of year when I pretty much want to cozy up on my couch under a warm throw, drink a cup of tea and read a book. Ok. That’s anytime of year. But right now, I realllly need that throw!
One of the coolest things about crocheting up a throw blanket is that you have all the warmth of it while you’re working away. It’s a win win!
I’ve been looking for a new crochet throw blanket pattern to start up and I thought I’d round up some inspiration in case you are too! I had started one and now I’m hating it and I think I’m going to take the whole thing apart. Tell me I’m not the only one who does that. So let’s see what we can find to make!

Beautiful throws here–esp the green crochet sampler–the edging is especially lovely! I’m wondering if anyone knows of really clear directions online (or maybe share your directions here, if that’s okay, Bev) for starting one of those corner-to-corner throws and would post the URL please (I wasn’t able to find an understandable one). My mother crocheted one for each of her grandchildren and now she wants to make one for each of her eight (plus one on the way) great-grandchildren. She forgot how to start it, and I couldn’t make sense of the directions she has. Thanks for any help you can share.

I tried to download the pattern for Beach comer blanket but the link doesn’t go there. I started an afghan for my son and in the move that I made to North Carolina, the pattern got lost. I am sure that is the same stich for the afghan I was making. Could you please tell me the stich? I don’t need the whole pattern just please let me know the stich. I was about half way done and I would like to finish my project.
Thanks for your help.
