It’s a new year – and time for a new commitment to Sew Our Stash!
I’m super excited to say that Marissa from Rae Gun Ramblings and I are ready for a whole new year of Sew Our Stash!
If you’re new to Sew Our Stash – it’s a monthly challenge we take to sew something to wear for ourselves at least once a month. You can use something from your stash – or you can use new fabric. It’s quite a lot to ask fabricaholics to only use things from their stash. :)
Here’s a few of the things I made last year for Sew Our Stash!
I have some fun plans already for this year – I’m going to make up the new Colette dress – the Phoebe. I’m thinking of trying a plaid or maybe a wool. I also want to make up another Dottie Angel Frock. That pattern is so versatile.
I will confess that the hardest part of these posts is doing the photos. I’m just not comfortable being behind the camera. So I will be working on that too! I can’t guarantee that I’ll always be in the photos but I will try. :)
Marissa and I would love for you to sew along with us this year! We will post our adventures on the last Thursday of every month. You can add links in the comments, or you can share what you’ve made on Instagram and use the hashtag #sewourstash. Feel free to tag Marissa (@raegunramblings) and myself too! (@flamingotoes) We’ll be featuring you occasionally throughout the year!
I’d love to know what patterns/projects you have on your goal list for the year! Any new dresses or tops? Or maybe a coat or . . . jeans??

Very excited about this and I love the dress in the first photo. This year I want to see more items for myself I usually see for my kids…on the docket the Mingo and Grace woman’s dress pattern and then a doe and deer t-shirt and we will see form there…can’t wait just n Ed to finish organizing the sewing space…

I’m on board. I think I have at least 10 projects planned that use my stash and most of them also using stash patterns too.

oh, I should totally do this! I never sew for myself and although I don’t have a huge stash of fabric to sew for clothes, I do have a huge stash of patterns…. I’ll try!!!

Where do I get the pattern for the Sorbetto top?
