Up on the Rooftop Quilt Week 3

I’m joining in with Fat Quarter Shop for their Christmas Mystery quilt along called Up on the Rooftop. We’ve had two weeks so far – you can see my blocks so far here. The block for week three is this darling Reindeer – all decorated with a little blanket and quilt blocks. The block looks like a lot of pieces, but I was surprised at how quickly it went together.

I had a lot of fun picking several prints from my Mistletoe and Holly collection for accents on the reindeer, like the star, antlers, blanket, etc. I even fussy cut one of the little wreath prints to use as the center of the star. I’m using my Dainty Daisy Gray on Cloud low volume as the background, and I decided to use the Butterscotch Dainty Daisy as my deer – I love the gold color!
