I have had so much fun sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop’s mystery Christmas Quilt, and I’m so excited to show off my Up on the Rooftop Quilt Along Finish.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been sewing up the different sections of this fun quilt! This week, we put all the sections together, and I love how it turned out so much! I decided I wanted my quilt just a bit bigger, so I added a print border to the quilt. This is a 3 1/2″ finished border; I cut my strips at 4″ x WOF. I love how it frames the quilt.

How fun is that reindeer block?? I love it!
I am using my Mistletoe and Holly collection for the sew-along and my Dainty Daisy Gray on Cloud low volume as the background. I used the green main print as the border.

I’ll be quilting this one up soon so it’s all ready to cuddle up with in time for Christmas!
It’s not too late to sew along. At the link below, you’ll find the pattern for each week, along with the cross-stitch pattern and any extra supplies you may like to purchase.

Love your quilt and am really glad I saw this because adding that border was such a great idea! I think when I make it I will have to give that reindeer a little button eye. :)
I love how that turned out. I knew I was going to regret not doing this one. I just couldn’t work it in but I love it.
I love your finished border…that really puts it all together. I plan to start on this quilt using my bin of Christmas fabric., Also, I enjoy receiving your emails weekly, they are very inspiring.
