The RBD Block Challenge Block 5 is here, and it’s a cutie! This is the Flower Patch Block from Heather Peterson of Anka’s Treasures, and it’s such a pretty block!

I’m having a blast sewing up these blocks with my Melody collection! It’s been fun to see the blocks in different fabrics. Here are my blocks so far in the challenge:
This week’s block is a gorgeous flower block with a big open area perfect for highlighting a print. I used my Main print from Melody – the flower bouquets fit in there perfectly! The petals just “had” to be pink, and I love the tiny leaves that accent the block.

I used the Flutter and Flora in Peaches N Cream for the petals; the leaves are Flower Fields Clover, and the little corner accents are Vines Apricot.

You can join the #RBDBlockChallenge Facebook Group to check them out! It is so inspirational to see the blocks in different fabrics.

Where can I find the patterns for the blocks done earlier?
Looking for the patterns for the first 5 blocks, can somebody please help.
Thank you
I love the block 5. Couldn’t I make an entire quilt with this block, or with sashing?
