Oh, you guys, I am SO happy to say that we have added on a 4th co-hostess to our Pinterest Party!
Please give a very warm welcome to our friend Kara from Mine for the Making!
Kara is a work-at-home/stay-at-home mom to an adorable little girl whom she also home schools. She blogs, has a sign business, teaches a cooking class for kids, and, to top it all off, is uber creative. You would have to be with a busy schedule like that! We love Kara and think you all will, too!
She is here today with her FIRST Pinterest Feature Friday write up! Yay, Kara!!!

This shabby flag that Alberta pinned to her July 4th board is gorgeous, isn’t it??
Doesn’t this Vintage Summer Gingham Bunting, by A Pretty Cool Life, make you want to have an outdoor BBQ? Alberta pinned this to her Banners & Garlands board.
Thanks for letting us look through your boards, Alberta! It was lots of fun. I hope you’ll grab a Featured button!
Have you joined the Pinterest Master List? You should! You may be our next feature!!
Happy Friday friends!
I would like to have the instructions on the flag that McKenzie made called Shabby Flag. I love it! Is there anyway to get those so that I can make one? This is the caption under it:

I too would like the directions to your Shabby Flag. It is adorable.
You’re American flag is cute, but backwards
If you mean the shabby flag, it is not backwards. It is hanging correctly according to US flag etiquette. The blue section is supposed to hang in the upper left whether hung horizontally or vertically.
If you like Alberta’s boards, you should check out Maureen Halter’s Pinterest board – 158 boards, 28,700 pins, and almost 6,000 followers. Lots of great inspiration – upcycles, crafts, interior design, gardening, fashion, art and more.
Did anyone find instruction for The Shabby Flag? I would love to try and make one!
I have the fabric and rod to make the Shabby Flag. I love yours. I’m a 74 year old woman and like to make crafts. Can you please send me directions on how to make one like yours?
