Happy Friday!!
Once again you have all outdone yourselves! There were so many great links at the party – I can’t wait to show off a few!
I love these colorful Camera Strap Covers that Lindsay from Diary of a Crafty Lady made!
The fabrics are so cute! And I love that she had the same conversation with her hubby that I did about making the camera look “girly” :)
This Watermelon Lemonade from Kara at Mine for the Making sounds sooo yummy!
She made it for her super cute Pinkalicous party – but it’s so perfect for summer! It would be great for hanging out at the pool or a picnic too!
I love itty bitty tiny things. And this Picket Fence Fairy Garden by Nicole at the Shabby Beach Nest is full of them!!
Nicole found this planter and turned it into a fairy garden for her daughter. You have to go check out all the little details. The mushrooms kill me!!
What a fabulous garden for kids. And grownups. :)
How cute is this Sock Monkey Baby Shower by Giggles Galore?? She has some great photos to show you all the details.
I think I’d like my next birthday party to be a sock monkey party. Weird?
Hellooooo yumminess!! Lyuba from Will Cook for Smiles linked up Rice Pudding with Carmelized Peaches. Yes. and Yes.
Since hubby is anti-chocolate (shocking, I know) this will be a big hit here!
I reallllly need one of these!!! Chrissy from Hoot Designs (who is super sweet) made this darling Vintage Tape Measure Bracelet!
Isn’t it the cutest???? And look. She has plenty left over for more bracelets!! Hmmmm. Who could she make another for?? Hi Chrissy. Hi. :)
Just kidding. Pretty much.
That’s it for the features – aren’t they amazing??
If you were featured and would like a button – they’re over on the sidebar.
Thanks for linking up!!
Have time for some Highlights of the Week??? :)
WE have a Name!!!!
In case you have missed the addition to the family, we have a new kitty. That up until very recently was called “No Name”, “the Baby”, and “Kitty”.
Yes. We are super creative here.
But no longer! He has been christened. Kitty’s official name is Kato. And it’s really a personality name. Maybe you’ve never seen the Pink Panther movies (not the weird ones with Steve Martin), but the great ones with Peter Sellers.
Kato is the Inspector’s sidekick and he is always jumping out and attacking the inspector. Which is pretty much Kitty’s main goal in life. Hide behind something, then jump out and scare the cheese out of whoever is walking by. And maybe grab on for a small ride in Xray’s case. It’s great.
Event for the Day. . .
I will be up at the Long Beach Quilt Market today with my mom checking out all the awesomeness!
And spending money on fabric that I probably don’t need. Shhhh. We’ll keep that part a secret.
Nevermind. There is no such thing as fabric I don’t need.
Coming Up . . .
I have a super fun new line of rings that I’ve been working on for the shop! I can’t wait to show them to you. I’ll have some pictures for you next week!
I think you’re going to love them. :) At least, I hope so.
Weird Searches of the Week:
Now, I don’t ever want to make fun of anyone. This is all in good fun right? :)
Someone searched this week for “i don’t know how to tie an apron”. Oh sweetie. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Take the long strings and wrap them around your waist. Then tie them in a bow (like shoes) or even a knot. It’s all good.
We also had a search for “how my husband made me cry with pleasure”. um. . . I’m blushing. Seriously.
I wonder if they found what they were looking for.
And on that note . . .
I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
See ya tomorrow for the link party! :)
Loving the picks this week, Bev! And that bracelet… too fun!! Give Kato a scratch behind the ears for me. He sounds like a blast! :)
Loooove the kitty’s name. I grew up watching those old Pink Panther movies whenever they were broadcast on TV. Kato was by far my favorite character!
LOVE the name Kato! Sounds just perfect…;) And that rice pudding looks amazing…gonna have to try it…Have a great weekend, Bev!

I’m guessing that our post doesn’t have to be pink. I wanted to share more vintage images, but these are in black and white. Thanks,Katharine
P.S. I forgot where you are. Is that Long Beach, California or as in Long Island, NY that your quilt show is.
Thank you so much for featuring my fairy garden, Bev!! As always, I’m absolutely humbled and honored to be noticed by such an amazing blogger, as well as to be included alongside so many amazing, creative people. ^_^ Thank you again!!
