Happy Friday!!
One More Week!! Are you getting excited!! I am. :)
I’m also excited to share with you the Crush of the Week today – a special “Christmas Feature” edition!
I love it so much when I get an email from one of you letting me know you’ve made a Flamingo Toes project – and I love showing them off!
First up let’s check out some fantastic Candy Cane Kitchen Signs (click here if you’d like the tutorial). . .
Christen from Making a Home the Creative Way made a super sweet version – hers is not distressed yet, but I think it looks great this way too!
Jen from Lipstick and Laundry made not one but TWO Signs – one for her and one for a gift!! These look so good!
Lisa did something a little different. She took the image of the sign and had Costco print it out. She popped it in a frame – instant art!! I love that idea. ;)
Erin from Chocolate, Tatertots & Cheerios made the stinkin’ cutest version of the Anthro Highland Hot Air Balloon Ornament (tutorial here).
Isn’t the fabric she used pretty?
And last but definitely not least, take a look at this beautiful Christmas purse!
Christol from The Magic of Ordinary Things modified the Rebecca Shoulder Bag slightly and made this super cute Christmas purse! I think the ruffle closure she added is so cute.
That was so fun!! All these projects will be added to the “You’ve Made It” page – and if you’ve made something from a tutorial here, send me a link or a picture!! I’d love to feature YOU next time! :)
Looking forward to you adding the new additions to the “You Made It” page. I’d love to see what Lisa says about taking her printout to Costco. I didn’t see a link on hers, so couldn’t go to her blog to check it out. Thanks!
Such creative readers you have, Bev!!
This is SO cool Bev!!! How fun to see your readers putting your tutorials to use! You’re practically a celebrity! :]
Such fun Candy Cane love going on…
Merry Christmas
Thanks for putting my project up here and for the great tutorial : )
Merry Christmas!
