Ok – I’m moving things around on you again. It’s getting to be a lot for me to do Top Five Fridays and the Crush of the Week. So for a little while I’m going to hold off on Top Five Fridays and just stick with the Crush of the Week. I’m spending quite a bit of time on the weekend writing – and not as much time as I’d like with hubby and the kids. So I know you all understand. Thanks in advance for being patient with the changes.
Speaking of changes . .and silliness . . . I was playing around with my banner yesterday and dressed up our silly Flamingo for school. She’s donned some Converse (those are for you Annie) and she’s dropped her books out of her sweet little book bag. She’s a bit of a klutz. I hope you like it.
And speaking of Back to School (are you lovin these segues or what?) . . . have you been checking out the inspiration over at Someday Crafts’ Back to School week?
If you haven’t I highly recommend going back through the posts for the last week. There have been great tutorials and crafts, but there are also really sweet ideas, printables and snacks! Seriously, Michelle has put so much into this week and I think it has been soooo great!
And she is including my tutorial for the Back to School Bicycle bag in the fun later today! So go by Someday Crafts today – show Michelle some love and check out the inspiration – cause there is a lot of it there! But then – there always is! :)
Now on to this week’s Crush . . .
This is a bit different than the usual Crush – but I’m so loving the blog Beat Until Fluffy. Have you found it yet?
Oh my goodness the yumminess.
Every recipe that Dawn posts is genius. And this blog is so much more than just recipes. She’s a great writer too!
Let me show you some of the Eye And Tummy candy you can find at Beat Until Fluffy.
Look, this is amazing – Boston Cream Cupcakes
Boston Cream Pie is a big weakness of mine. Cake filled with cream and smothered in Chocolate. Um. Hello. And now I can have this in a cupcake??? I’ll take 24 Thank you very much.
This one is perfect for dinner, snacks or even parties. It’s her Tomato Pastry.
Tomatoes, Basil and Mozerella together are heaven for me. Add in puff pastry and I’m a goner. I can’t wait to give this a try. What a light summer snack!
This one is also on my list. It has something for all of us. It’s Dawn’s recipe for Happy Muffins!
Do you remember the mini donut box with the crumble, powdered sugar and chocolate trio in the box? I love those. This is her take on those donuts – in muffin version. How amazing is that??
Dawn also has a linky party on Saturdays and I just saw that she’s going to be helping out at The Girl Creative! Yes she’s multitalented and crafty too!
Ok, now that we’re all drooling, head on over to Beat Until Fluffy and see the awesomeness there!
